In Atomic Habits*, James Clear says “You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.”
While goals, particularly in business, are essential just shooting for something won’t make it happen. I once heard an entrepreneur talking about how their business coach told them they were “accidentally successful”. They were finding success in what they did but couldn’t replicate it whenever they wanted.
For your business to be successful, you need to have systems in place that allow you to recreate what you’ve done in the past. If you haven’t done it, then look at others so you can model their behavior and build the success you want.
